Quotes from Barron Vangor Toth, co-creator of WWE Raw Deal.
(at Fan Axxess):"The first thing I'm going to do after I wake up Wednesday morning is put together my nobody deck."
"I saw the rules and went over them between sessions at WrestleMania X8, and, if you are a player of Raw Deal that plays for, say, more than a few days a week ... or you have the time to play a few days a week with a group of guys ... that Jason's rules are a fantastic league concept. It's very mathematical and organized quite well. However, it isn't for a casual fan or one not interested in dedicating a lot of time to it. Like I told Zev about it ... it is the coolest thing in the world for like 5% of the Raw Deal community. Most people will find it ... too much ... for casual gaming. BUT, if you and your buddies are really into Raw Deal, it's fantastic. I know I can't wait to see the updated rules"
"What is that site, you ask? Well, it's a quality Raw Deal site for a Jason Austin in the streets of Ontario, Canada. The site will soon be added to the links section of Comic Images' site, but more than that, this site is the place to find NOBODY RULES. Yes! Finally! We have been talking about them here at "Ask Barron" since these articles began, and here they are. While I like and have enjoyed many "fantasy" Raw Deal formats, there is no one format that I've read that has gotten me as intrigued and excited as "Nobody Rules." I don't want to do them or the site a disservice by going over them here ... go there, check 'em out. If you and your friends are hardcore Raw Deal players looking for cool idea for a league where you will use a lot of cards that you probably wouldn't be using otherwise, check out this site ... the write-up isn't as "clean" - i.e. formatted all nice and pretty - as it will be soon, but I didn't want to have another moment go by where this format wasn't advertised to the fans at large. It's fairly complicated, very mathematical, but VERY fun."
" Team Canada Online now has the BEST way to see the "Nobody Rules" that I am extremely excited about. I think any hardcore Raw Deal fan should check these rules out and see if they would make an entertaining addition to your Raw Dealing - I know how fun they are, and a lot of other people are getting into the "nobody" excitement."
Nobody Rules Player's Guide
Inugural Nobody Rules Tournament
I am looking into holding an annual Nobody Rules tournament at the annual con my gaming club puts on.
The con is in October. If I do get an annual tourney going, the nobodies will have had exactly 1 year's worth of matches. Additional cons may have veteran nobody tournaments as well, that is 2 year veterans against each other during the 2nd annual tourney, 3 year veteran nobody tournament during the 3rd annual, etc. up to having 5 tourneys per annual event starting on the 5th annual event.
I am also thinking about having it work as follows:
The end-of-league champs submitting their 'nobodies' to me so a proxy player can play the 'nobodies' and have each leagues' HW champs have a tourney amongst themselves to determine the true HW champ, and likewise for the other champions.
